CERT Organization
Organization is defined in two parts. Documentation of the CERT organization and the organization charts of the Incident Command Post(ICP).

CERT ORGANIZATION CHARTS
All participants in FEMA operations are, by presidential decree, required to organize as defined in the Incident Command System(ICS).
This includes all Emergency Management and Citizen Corps volunteer organizations which include CERTs. One of the attributes of the ICS is that each organizations is scalable according to the magnitude of the incident; national, state, county or community.
A full scale incident architectur is depicted below. Please notice that, at the bottom left of the chart are the Single Resources units. These are what we call the Teams that are subordinate to the Incident Command Post(ICP) in ISMA CERT and the Community CERTs.

However, the ISMA CERT and Community CERTs are a much smaller scale operation. The anticipated organization of the ISMA CERT and Community CERTs is shown below. It depicts a three tier Emergency Communication(EmComm) operational architecture including the Palm Beach County Emergency Operations Center(PBC EOC), ISMA CERT and the Community CERTs.
